What types of Email Does Backblaze Send?

Service Emails

Backblaze sends important service emails as part of providing you online backup.

Examples of these include reminders about the expiration of your trial, problems with your billing, status of your restore requests, and responses to your support questions.

As these emails are required for us to provide you the Backblaze service, you cannot unsubscribe from them. The only way to opt-out of these emails is to cancel your Backblaze account and uninstall the Backblaze client, which you can learn how to do here: how to uninstall Backblaze and cancel your account.

Backblaze will not spam you or sell your email address to anyone. The founders of Backblaze previously built and ran anti-spam company MailFrontier. We hate spam. If you have any questions or problems, please email me and I will work with you personally to understand the issue.
