Backblaze Computer Backup supports single sign-on (SSO) as a way to add additional security for your account. SSO lets you sign in one time and access services without re-entering authentication factors.
For individual accounts, Backblaze currently supports SSO for Google GSuite. To use SSO for a Backblaze Group account instead of an individual account, click here for more information.
Enable SSO
If you use your email address and password to sign in to your Backblaze account, you can choose to use SSO instead.
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select My Settings.
- In the Security section, click Verify Login to Enable.
- Click Continue to verify this action.
You are prompted to sign in again using Google. - Click Continue.
Disable SSO
You can disable SSO and use your email address and password to sign in to Backblaze instead.
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select My Settings.
- In the Security section, click My Email.
- Click Continue.
The next time you sign in, you are prompted to sign in with your email and password.
