      Apply a Discount Code or a Prepaid Code

        You can use a prepaid code to pay for Computer Backup.

        You can use a discount code to apply a promotional or special offer to reduce the total cost of your Computer Backup license.

        Apply a Prepaid Code

        Note
        You can use prepaid codes only for the following account types:
        * Accounts that have no billing enabled or accounts that are within 30 days of renewal.
        * Accounts that already have an active backup.
        * Accounts with a one-year subscription (prepaid codes cannot be used for monthly or two-year plans).
        1. Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
        2. In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select Billing.
        3. Under Payment, select Update Payment Method or Buy.
          If you have never entered a payment method, the link is displayed as "Buy". If you previously added billing information,"Update Payment Method" is displayed.
        4. Under Payment Method, select Prepaid Code.
        5. In the field under Prepaid Code, enter your nine-digit code.
        6. Click Apply Prepaid Code.

        Apply a Discount Code

        Note
        You can use discount codes only for the following account types:
        * Personal Computer Backup accounts (not valid for Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage, Business Backup, or Enterprise Control accounts).
        * New accounts (not valid for existing users).
        * Accounts that were not created through the refer-a-friend program.

        1. Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
        2. In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select Billing.
        3. Under Payment, select Buy.
        4. Under Payment Method, enter your discount code below your ZIP Code in the Offer Code field.
          The total due amount changes to reflect your discount.
        5. Click Buy Backblaze.
