    Article summary

Files that have not backed up with Backblaze Computer Backup in more than 30 days or files that were removed from your computer longer than 30 days ago will not appear in your current backup view. If you have Backblaze Extended Version History, you can roll back time to locate those files.

    Note
If you enable One-Year Version History, you can roll back time a year from the current date. If you have Forever Version History, you can roll back time to when you first enabled the Version History upgrade. You can learn more about how to use Extended Version History here.

    Locate Your Files

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select View/Restore Files.

    6. Select the files that you want to retrieve, and set your restore method at the top of the View/Restore Files page.
    7. Click Continue with Restore.
