You can use the Backblaze web console to change your existing Backblaze Computer Backup billing to a new credit card. You can also view your past transactions.
Update Billing
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select Billing.
- Select the tab for your service.
- Click Update Payment Method.
- Enter your payment details.
- Click Update Payment Method.
View Transactions
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select Billing.
- Select the tab for your service.
- Under Transactions, select the desired year.
- To print an invoice, select Print YTD Transactions.
You can view your billed amount for each past month.
For Backblaze B2, charges for transactions and storage are calculated daily at 12:00 AM UTC.
While charges are based on daily totals, billing is not due until your monthly billing anniversary, which is the same day of the month that your account was created. For example, if your account was created on February 5th, your credit card is charged on the 5th of each month.
You can also view your estimated billing amount for the current month. To see a breakdown of your charges, click the triangle icon next to the billing date to expand the view.
Change a Billing Plan for Computer Backup
- Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
- In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select Preferences.
- In the Plan section, select Monthly or 2-yearly.
- Click Change Plan.
- Click OK to confirm the changes.
Your updated plan begins with your next renewal cycle.
