    Restore your Windows Live Mail Files

    1. Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select View/Restore Files.
    3. Under methods, select Download (Free).
    4. At the bottom of the page, locate the computer that you want to restore and click Go.
    5. Navigate through the file window to C: > Users > (your name) > AppData > Local > Microsoft > Windows Live Mail.
    6. Select the Windows Live Mail folder, and click Continue with Restore.

    Download your Windows Live Mail Restore

    Backblaze sends you an email when your restore file is ready to download. The time it takes to prepare your restore depends on the size of the restore.

    1. Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select My Restores.
    3. Locate your restore, and click Download.
      The restore downloads to the default location on your computer which is typically the Downloads folder.
    4. Double-click the ZIP file that you just downloaded to decompress the file.
      The restore file unzips in your Downloads folder.
    5. Open the new folder to view the restore files.
    6. Open your Local Live Mail folder found at C: > Users > (your name) > AppData > Local > Microsoft > Windows Live Mail.
      Backblaze recommends that you create a new folder called "Old" in which to put your local copy of the Apple Mail files.
    7. Select and move your restored files from the Download folder to your local Windows Live Mail folder.
    8. Open Windows Live Mail, and confirm that your email was successfully restored.
