Reset an Account Password

You can change and reset your Backblaze Computer Backup account password with the Backblaze web console.

Change Your Account Password

1. Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
2. In the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page, select My Settings.
3. Under Security, select Change Password.
4. Enter your current password.
5. Enter and confirm your new password.
6. Click Change Password.
   An alert is sent to the email address that is registered to your account.

Reset a Forgotten Password

1. Navigate to the sign in page, and enter the email address for your Backblaze account.
2. Click Next.
3. Click Forgot Password?
4. Enter the email address for your Backblaze account, and click Forgot Password.
   A reset message is sent to the email address that is registered to your account.
5. Click the password reset link that is provided in the email.
6. Enter your new password, and click Reset Password.
