Refer a Friend

The Backblaze Refer-A-Friend Program lets you give your friends a month of Backblaze Computer Backup for free. Also, for every friend who successfully purchases a Backblaze Computer Backup subscription, no matter which plan they choose, Backblaze discounts the equivalent of one month’s charge on your next renewal. If you have more than one computer, then you get the same discount on your next renewal.

Currently, this program is available only if you paid for your Backblaze Computer Backup account with a credit card. Accounts that are currently on a trial, a prepaid code, or a member of a Business Group are not eligible for the Refer-a-Friend program. Additionally, you cannot use this program to refer existing customers.

If you refer a friend, Backblaze contacts your friend to determine whether they consent to an invite.

Access Backblaze Credits and Status

1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, click Overview.
3. To the right of your backup's name, click Earn Free Backblaze Credits.
4. To send an email to your friends, enter their email addresses in the To field, and click Send Friends an Invite.
5. Click Copy to Clipboard to share your link.
6. To view who you invited, who created an account, and who purchased an account, click See the status of friends I've invited.
