Friday the 13th: How Lucky Are You?

It’s 6:30 p.m. on Friday the 13th, so if you’re reading this, it probably wasn’t a completely unlucky day.

According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute, about one in 15 people in the U.S. are affected by a fear of this day. Many people acquire good luck charms—horseshoes, lockets, or feathers. However, as R. E. Shay said, “Depend on the rabbit’s foot if you will, but remember it didn’t work for the rabbit.
