Backblaze Release 4.0.5

We’ve updated our Backblaze Personal Backup and Backblaze Business Backup clients to Version 4.0.5. This is a minor release.

Windows:

  • Updated the Command Line install/uninstall capability by adding a silent uninstall option. Note: Command Line install/uninstall is primarily used by Backblaze Business Backup customers.
  • Fixed an isolated data upload bug that could cause large files to be uploaded more than once.
  • Updated copyright to 2016.
  • Minor tweaks and fixes.

Mac:

  • Updated the Command Line install/uninstall capability by adding a silent uninstall option. Note: Command Line install/uninstall is primarily used by Backblaze Business Backup customers.
  • Fixed an isolated data upload bug that could cause large files to be uploaded more than once.
  • Inoculated against Adobe Creative Cloud from deleting “.bzvol” files.
  • Updated copyright to 2016.
  • Minor tweaks and fixes.
