      Download a Zipped Restore File (Web UI)

        If you restored your files as a ZIP file, you can use the Backblaze web console to download your restore. Backblaze ZIP restores can be up to 500 GB in size.

        Note
        For large restores, Backblaze recommends that you use the Backblaze Downloader. The Backblaze Downloader is better equipped to handle larger restores, and it can resume paused or interrupted downloads. To use the Downloader App for Mac, click here.         Download your ZIP File

        Before you begin:

        • You must verify that the current password for your Backblaze account matches the password that you used to create the restore.
        • Ensure that there is enough space on your computer to accommodate the size of the downloaded restore.
        1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
        2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select My Restores.
        3. Locate the restore and confirm that the restore's status is "Available."
        4. To the right of your restore, click Download.
          A successfully downloaded restore appears as (yourfilename).zip. If the restore file ends in bztemp or includes extra characters, then the file was not correctly downloaded.
